More than just a near-fatal incident:

More than just a near-fatal incident:

The night my son nearly died, an unexpected tranquility overtook me, giving me grace and a steely resolve. Over time, his sensitivity to tree nuts, notably peanuts, macadamia nuts, and hazelnuts, had grown. Initially controlled with only Benadryl and antihistamines. A year ago, a gut feeling compelled me to insist on an EpiPen, which initially proved challenging to obtain on our island as EpiPens were unavailable for months.
Despite having lifesaving equipment, we had never used it until three weeks ago. As I recently re-embraced veganism, my son accidentally came across a vegan cream cheese made entirely of cashew nuts. Within minutes, he had gone from an apparently benign reaction to potentially fatal—throat closing, racing heart, pain over the chest, projectile vomiting, and severe battling to breathe. The EpiPen became our lifeline, even though he initially reacted to the adrenaline with severe shaking and chills, accompanied by a completely white skin tone and glassy eyes.
Picture
This occurrence, however, was more than just a near-fatal incident; it exposed a tangled web of issues we've encountered since last year. My son's school life became a never-ending cycle of calls reporting his problems, which led to vilification and bullying. Amidst a divorce and managing two residences, I struggled to keep my business running while caring for two special-needs children on my own.

When regular schooling proved unsuitable for my son, I decided to unschool him instead. In three weeks of child-led spontaneous nature and creative-filled activities, I've noticed a marked difference and a downward regulation of his sympathetic nervous system that was permanently heightened. Amidst the chaos, a watershed moment occurred when I introduced a sound healing meditation to my children. They have played my instruments before but have never participated in an in-depth sound bath. My son insisted that he wanted to do the sound bath. I present the importance of approaching the tools gently. He listened and facilitated. The experience's potency triggered a massive emotional release, particularly for my daughter, who was dealing with the sadness and grief of leaving her prior life behind in the States.
Throughout this journey, the transformational power of sound healing has become a tool for my personal development, the clients I serve, and bridging understanding between my family. My son, who now delights in playing musical instruments daily, is demonstrating a tremendous transformation, providing a beacon of hope. While obstacles remain, this profound experience represents a significant step toward healing and understanding our unorthodox path.
Picture
I'm excited for him to share this newfound gift with his former school one morning in assembly by conducting a sound bath for people around the island.

Thank you for being a part of this journey and for your encouragement and prayers throughout these difficult transitions. As you face your challenges, I also send my love, blessings, and prayers to your families.

As we shift, our reality shifts. This has been my most profound takeaway from this series of intense events.

TRANSITIONS SUCK; I AM NOW MORE OPEN TO CHANGE IN 2024

Picture
What if I tell you that resistless transitions to welcome change and easeful contractions and expansions await you this year, just like it does for me?
"Your hand opens and closes, opens and closes. If it were always a fist or always stretched open, you would be paralyzed. Your deepest presence is in every small contracting and expanding, the two as beautifully balanced and coordinated as birds' wings.” Rumi
Picture
Amidst the challenging transitions of 2023, I embarked on a profound journey, leaving behind a 22-year marriage and venturing into the unknown. The uncertainties loomed large — from securing my own livelihood to navigating the unfamiliar grounds of Bermuda, my newfound home. Questions of rightful claims, sacrifices, and creating a stable haven for my children echoed in my mind.

In the face of these trials, from the decision to part ways to the intricacies of co-parenting and the lengthy divorce process, I discovered profound insights. It became a lesson in breaking free from familiar patterns of resistance, chaotic shifts, and the tendency to worry and overthink.

Yet, within the contraction phase, I unearthed hidden blessings. I learned to appreciate the support that surrounded me and embraced the healing potential within my struggle. Patience, trust, and non-reactivity emerged as gifts amid the storm.

Navigating this transitional dance, I chose forgiveness over harsh self-judgment. I celebrated my progress, acknowledging that doubt and yearning for change are natural. Grieving the past while cherishing the positive memories became part of the process.

In the spirit of Rumi's words on the balance of expansion and contraction, I now find myself poised to soar on the wings of transformation. As I step into 2024, my vision is clear — an era of liberation, financial independence, energetic freedom, and unwavering boundaries.
I am ready to live my truth, honoring my worth and benevolence, embracing the manifestation of a new and empowered chapter in my life

Birthing my power with an ANCIENT  CHILDBIRTH CEREMONy

Remembering the ancient Blessings Way

Amid my fourth pregnancy, I set out on a life-altering journey that centered on honoring the sacredness, beauty, and divinity interwoven throughout the process of getting ready for the birth of my child and the rekindling with motherhood. I let go of my attachment to the end goal of holding my healthy newborn boy, Zion, in my arms and instead focused on the profound journey of nurturing myself from within.
I embarked on a SOAR journey into sacred pregnancy and sacred birth. Guided by my spiritual practices, inner feminine knowledge, and the inspiration I found in ancient Egypt.

The SOAR Blessings-way is a ceremony steeped in Navajo culture and is  adapted in sisterhood organizations, where  each woman is celebrated in their individuality as part of a women's circle, as described in "Mother Rising," by Donna Miller Watelet, Yana Courtlund, and Barb Lucke.

This ceremony spoke to my soul because it mirrored my Seasons of Womanhood-inspired work of healing and service to women.
Picture
However, even within the holistic health communities within my profession, I needed help locating a circle or facilitator capable of holding a Blessing's Way Ceremony. I "remembered" that I lifetimes ago facilitated such a journey and I was called to facilitate this for myself and demonstrated the need to revive this ancient practice. I invited members of my online sister circle from Seasons of Womanhood and close friends to a spiritual ceremony in the serene garden of my Seasonal Health Apothecary.

Like the ancient Egyptian birth house known as a "Mammisi," this tranquil garden provided a haven amidst the urban bustle of Hoboken, NJ. Similarly to the ancient Egyptian temple grounds, it was guarded by the Birch tree, over a century old and full of wisdom. It was a place where I regularly hosted healing circles, sound meditations, moon rituals, and other events for women.

I felt a kinship with the ancient Egyptians on that brisk autumn afternoon when the sun hung low on the horizon. The leaves let some of the soft heat in, and with it came the voices of the shared spirits that bind us all.

Invoking the ancient Egyptians' devotion to the ceremony, I rang in our circle with a resonant gong strike that recalled the bells at Isis's temples. After that, I did a purification ritual reminiscent of ancient Egyptian rites of passage by encircling each woman with the smudge and sacred incence.
Picture

The moose skin drum I birthed during a traditional Native American ritual's primeval rhythms echoed in our ears like our mother's heartbeat, reminding us of our first sound experience.

Echoing the ancient Egyptians' awe for holy water, a water blessing ensued. The frequencies reverberate within our beings, joining us all. To keep the beat going, I explained how the ancient rites of empowerment celebrated in modern feminist movements had their roots in recovering women's voices through drumming and rituals.

By switching to the crystal bowl's angelic intonation, we could let go of our mundane concerns and enter a state of transcendence where we could commune with the universe. Through the power of our voices and the guidance of this sacred resonance, we established bonds with our forebears, our sacred selves, and the soil that gave us life.

With the aid this rose quartz crystal bowl, we were led through a toning that spoke to our innermost thoughts, feelings, and yearnings. With the energies of the fiery Aries full moon, our hearts were filled with love, and our hands were ready to serve.

The silver beads on the ocean drum, representing crashing waves, rang out as the ceremony ended, urging us to imagine and experience our beloved beaches with the same awe the ancient Egyptians felt for the Nile. As the sun caressed our skin, our senses became one with the outdoors.
The fresh, fragrant floral coronet I wore reflected the floral sacrifices presented to the goddesses like Isis, and I gratefully accepted. A Wild Sacred Women retreat in Maui had helped me reconnect with my sacred, wild nature, and the aromas took me back to that moment.

My sisters each took turns drawing a mandala on my expanding belly while I relaxed in a lawn chair. My sisters tattooed henna, accompanied by the sacred pregnancy tea from Seasonal Health LLC, using rainbow-colored paints, moon and goddess stencils, and their creativity. These adornments commemorated my expanding belly.

Picture
Picture
The cool paint on my warm skin transported me back to childhood memories of the earthy scent of African afternoon showers. I looked around at the group of women and saw the appreciation and happiness reflected in their faces. It was a recognition of the spiritual significance of the food they were eating in communion at that very moment.

Like the ancient Egyptians who looked to divination for answers, each woman chose an affirmation card to read. As each person in the circle read aloud from their selected card, we were all amazed at their unique insights and perspectives.

The gospel hymn that Rev. Venida Rodman Jenkins blessed us with was evocative of the peaceful harmonies that echoed throughout the ancient Egyptian temples. A worldwide prayer followed in which she prayed for my health during labor and for the safe arrival of Baby Zion into the world. These blessings found grounding at my feet as Rev. Venida anointed them with holy water from a sacred site in Israel.
Picture

Inspired by the uplifting song, my sister Andi serenaded us with a classic Italian love ballad, evoking the timeless power of music to stir emotions and foster connections.

We partook in delectable homemade dishes while my sisters collaboratively fashioned a symbolic umbilical cord. This act embodied the ancient Egyptian reverence for the bonds of family and community, uniting us in a gesture of love and nurturing—between myself and Zion and between myself and the divine mother, entwining us all within the tapestry of motherhood.

That afternoon's artistic expressions found a home on my birth altar. This sacred space, like the ancient Egyptian temples adorned with offerings and symbols of fertility, was now complete. A ceramic statue of Sheela-Na-Gig, crafted by my second cousin Melien, stood tall, symbolizing fertility and the eternal cycles of life.
A vibrant cloth painted with an open yoni, framed in vivid colors, welcomed the imminent birth of a baby boy—a testament to the ancient Egyptian belief in profound creative and regenerative forces.

Our celebration culminated with the ceremonial cutting of a multi-tiered rainbow cake, akin to the feasts and offerings made within the halls of the ancient Egyptian temples. Following this, I was led to a chair, where I immersed my feet in a homemade footbath infused with lavender and rose, a gift from my spirit sister Melinda. This soothing ritual underscored the importance of self-care and purification—a lesson from ancient Egyptian practices.

In alignment with these ancient practices, I ignited a fire to witness the full moonrise in Aries, harnessing her fiery energy as a beacon for my impending transition yet again into another motherhood journey. The circle of support surrounding me echoed the communal spirit celebrated.

The Healing Power of Egypt

With its feet in the sands of antiquity and the quest for enlightenment, Egypt has always been a magnet for adventurers, historians, and the spiritually curious. This region of ancient civilization, with its famous pyramids and majestic monuments, also conceals a secret beyond the physical: the healing power of Egypt.
In December 2022, I joined Dr. Kathia on her "Be the Lotus" Pilgrimage to Egypt, accompanied by twelve amazing women on a journey that would forever change my life. We were thirteen robust, beautiful, yet vulnerable ladies called to Egypt. Some came to bond with their family, some to strengthen friendships, while others sought new knowledge in the mysteries. We were there to heal from past wounds, grow from existing spiritual journeys, and break free from what held us back.

Egypt's Enduring Legacy of Health and Healing as a Woven Tapestry

Egypt has been a destination for pilgrims seeking solace and enlightenment since ancient times. The ancient Egyptians acknowledged the vital force permeating the universe and all living things' interdependence. This view sparked the development of innovative treatment modalities that took inspiration from all corners of life and the natural world.

Restorative Places

As a devoted Christian on this journey, I refrained from partaking in many of the (universal) spiritual practices and circles offered on this pilgrimage. However, I witnessed such beauty as my fellow travelers went through their own rebirth. The Egyptian temples were more than just impressive buildings; they were also places of salvation and enlightenment. These temples honored gods and goddesses linked with health and wellness, including Sekhmet, the lioness goddess of life and vitality. The sick, the downtrodden, and the spiritually unbalanced would go to these temples for treatment. Temples were places of worship where priests and priestesses performed rituals, sang healing incantations, and administered herbal medicines, connecting the human world with the divine.
Picture
On our first day on this journey, we had the privilege to visit Isis's Temple. My first day of standing as a witness to how powerful these pilgrimages can be. One of the ladies had a powerful connection to this sacred space and went through a severe grieving process, grieving all the deaths during 2019 and 2021 due to the pandemic. As she cried, I felt called to sit beside her and hold her.
I did not have to say a word. I just had to be there and hold space for her. This moment will forever be one of my most memorable moments, as I realized what "holding space" for someone really means. It's just sitting in silence with those who need us and letting them release their feelings without judgment, advice, or noise. Just silence...I am here for you.

Second, the Nile's mysterious strength

The Nile River was essential to ancient Egyptian medicine since it was considered the country's "bloodline" Its banks were rich with plants and herbs utilized in alternative medicine and homeopathy. The ancient Egyptians held that a dip in the Nile could heal physical ailments and elevate the spirit.
Picture

Picture
Our journey from Upper Egypt to Lower Egypt on the Afindina was magic. Here we could relax from a long day of exploring and discovering sacred places and enjoy time off on our floating temple on the Nile as the landscape changed around us. Connecting around tables of beautiful food made with love and bonding with each other. This part of the journey was my favorite part. I got to know each of the ladies; we were different yet the same. Our stories were aligned on many levels.
The fun side came out as the ladies enjoyed the hot tub, a dip in the Nile, some Egyptian music and dance, and just silly bantering.

Our beautiful Egyptologist, Farrag, made each of us a drawing in Arabic of our names and took the time to explain what our names mean.

We also had the opportunity to visit one of the villages, have tea, and explore their way of life.

Sound and Crystal Healing

Picture
The ancient Egyptians were well-versed in using the therapeutic potential of crystals and sound vibrations. The belief that crystals like lapis lazuli, carnelian, and clear quartz had special healing abilities was widespread in the past. According to this theory, the sistrum and the solemn chanting of hymns might harmonize with the body's energy centers and bring about holistic health. Watching my lifelong friend Dr. Kathia utilize her fantastic gift in sound and crystal healing still makes me tear up.
Her opening and closing circles, playing her crystal bawls, left me feeling honored that I could witness her fantastic talent.

Achieving Enlightenment through Meditation

The ancient Egyptians knew the value of quiet thought and reflection. The desert was a popular destination for initiates looking for peace and quiet to connect with the holy. These contemplative activities promoted calmness within and opened the way to significant growth on a spiritual and introspective level.
I had many opportunities to be by myself, meditating in prayer on all things; when surrounded by open spaces, visiting the temples, and listening to fellow travelers, one becomes inspired to invest more in oneself regardless of faith.
Picture
There is a mutual desire for peace and harmony, for oneness with nature, God, and each other. I saw these twelve beautiful souls sit in stillness, calm, and in a sense of peace, and I was grateful to be a witness and to be called to hold space for them.

The History Continues

Although the sands of time have changed, ancient Egyptian healing practices are still influential today. Egypt's healing tradition echoes in many contemporary wellness practices, from crystal healing and aromatherapy to energy work and mindfulness meditation.

Working with Dr. Kathia and learning from her daily has been a blessing. Her love for Egypt, knowledge of everything related to wellness, and unconventional way of doing things are mind-blowing.
Going on a Pilgrimage to Egypt is a must, regardless of your faith; there is something to discover that was called just for you to witness. It might be in the circles and sound meditation or, like me, as a Christian, loving my neighbor and holding space for them.

In closing

Picture
Ancient Egypt proves some ideas are more relevant today than thousands of years ago. Its healing heritage attests to the universal aspiration for harmony, health, and enlightenment. Exploring Egypt's healing potential reminds us that the country's mysterious dunes conceal information that might motivate us to seek our own paths to wholeness.

We may draw on Egypt's vast healing energies to nourish our brains, bodies, and souls, just as the ancient travelers did when they visited its sacred sites.
Whether you are seeking spiritual growth, healing, enlightenment, or, like me, wanting to celebrate a friend in her moment of greatness, standing witness to the vulnerability of grief, holding space, or connecting with beautiful souls. This experience is a must on your bucket list.

I left Egypt more grounded in my faith, grateful for what I have, and prosperous with new friends.

AN EASE OF BEING

Can you adopt an ease of being this summer?
What are you doing to create an easeful rhythm, one that nourishes, invigorates and inspires you?

This past month has called for this intention for me whilst moving my family to inhabit a small solo island just off Bermuda’s main Island in the North Atlantic.

This transition has been a challenging 6 months process and even though we still consider New England our home base and will return several times a year we will be spending most of our time adjusting to an Island Lifestyle.

For me to adjust to ease I needed to let go off... and ….
  • The very high expectations I place on an outcome, especially during such an international transition
  • Stop trying to please everyone! Yes, I am one of those.. I am realizing more and more someone will be displeased with something I do or don’t do wether it is a family member, a Neighbour, a friend, a colleague or even myself.
  • Be patient, with myself, others and the process. Yes, having to do driving tests all over again is definitely pushing this one!
  • Be kind to yourself and others! A little forgiveness for not having it ALL figured out or getting it wrong goes along way.
  • Celebrate the small and big wins. I wasn’t bargaining on getting a work permit, and I did. One that allows me to do any kind of work, even practice here and lead retreats in Bermuda. When I moved to the States in 2004 I was not allowed to work for 4 years until we managed to get on to another visa. During that time I travelled often to South Africa, serving on their Allied Health Professions Council and Higher Educational Statutory boards. I also commenced my PhD in Integrative Medicine and Medical Education whilst lecturing and developing the graduate curriculum for Natural Medicine at the University of Western Cape.
Picture
It took years to receive my accreditation and professional recognition in the States and I am now so pleased that I kept up my licenses and registration in the UK and South Africa also for all these years as it will come into play now.
Picture
  • Be open and in a state of flow and possibility to allow for miracles to manifest. Allow the “honeymoon” eye of a new place to keep you in a state of awe. For example last night I witnessed the most epic shooting star I’ve ever seen in my whole life as we’ve just been watching the Milky Way every night instead of TV for the past 5 weeks of being on a private Island.
  • Last but not least.. have fun, no matter what you do or try and keep chasing rainbows!  ;)

The strength in being vulnerable

The strength in being vulnerable

We grew up being shamed or scorned for crying, showing our frustrations, and maybe not being polite or socially engaged when we were going through something challenging and felt like we needed to retract.
Picture

Growing up, I was the type of child with BIG emotions (still am he, he). I would instantly bounce back, and I could not understand why others would reminisce about things that happened. It has been a life lesson for me, accepting that everybody has their way of dealing with grief, anger, disappointment, and frustrations and that it has NOTHING to do with Me.

Working with patients on the energetic manifestations of emotional trauma and social conditionings for the past two decades, I see more and more, even in myself how the “issues in the tissues” (as a teacher of mine used to say) such as PAIN, just get stuck and result in several dysfunctions in the physical body.

We have molded our coping mechanisms around what our society deems acceptable and have come to shelter ourselves from rawness.

We don't want to see it. (even birth and death that are now removed from us)
We don't want to hear it.
We don't want to feel it.
We find ways to bypass the pain, anything to keep us occupied and in a state of avoidance.

Picture

As of late, on a collective energetic level, so many karmic debts are being experienced. This is something ancient traditions such as in India and Egypt believe in, and address. I have had profound remembrances through past-life hypnotherapy from a gifted healer friend Alexa Little Star that has helped me identify why I am experiencing a specific pattern of pain that no doctor or bodyworker could resolve.
Picture
Picture
I also had this very discerning transcending experience around blood lineage karmic debt with Anubis, at Sekhmets’ chapel at the Karnak Temple Complex in Luxor. Anubis as the Gatekeeper, psychopomp archetype, and an expression of my higher consciousness showed me what I needed to continue doing to resolve my mother’s karmic debts. Whether you believe in this or not, it is a principle that is very real for many people, and all cultures or religious practices have various ways of relating to this concept and addressing it.

This is the same for grieving and dealing with huge losses. During ancient Egyptian times, being in mourning (lamenting) was a sanctified right of passage with a designated mourner, countless texts refer to even goddess Isis serving as that mourner. They would sing to the dead with dedicated mourning songs, filled with intense emotion, a ritual that would last for days where they would be screaming and wailing in sound. This was an appropriate way of expressing the pain and releasing it.
We have become ashamed of showing this kind of pain and vulnerability, bottling it up inside. That's why I so enjoy my women's empowerment and re-wilding work, where we would go into the forest allowing ourselves to scream and truly express all our anger without being “stoned” as a woman, or “labeled with hysteria” like they used to do in the old times. Connect with my Soar in Womanhood community.
I feel like I am still holding trauma from when My mother tragically died a decade ago and I lost my baby in the second trimester, after which I went to the ER and was yelled at for screaming by the nurse.
So Please I plead with you,
Be with the pain as it arises
Be with the suffering
Be vulnerable
Be okay to fall apart in that moment
Be okay to scream and cry and shout again!
Feel held in ALL of this.
During my Shamanic initiation work (Lear more about Soar with your Ka) we do Fire ceremonies where we will conjure up all this pain, feel it, sound it out and offer it to the fire to burn away. This is such a healing ceremony.
I feel that in society more of this is needed as there is so much anger, hatred, and violence. The commonly felt sense is that of hopelessness and powerlessness.
Picture
However, we sooo do! We can take back our power and hope by allowing ourselves to first forgive ourselves and then others, truly express ALL of our emotions as it comes up, and be fully present and aware.
Can we allow that?
Can we first allow that for ourselves?
Can we allow that for our loved ones, partners, and our children?
It's so darn uncomfortable to be with somebody that's falling apart, taking us to that place when we felt utter vulnerable and lost. A reminder of suppressed feelings still trapped manifesting in chronic pain.
I must admit this has been truly challenging for me as a mother holding space for my kids when they are fully expressive and I am feeling deeply triggered. Share your comments and experience in  SOAR In Motherhood community.
Watch this movie on how this dad holds space for his toddler.. Imagine all fathers experienced this type of support growing up and can do that for their children. How will our current events be different when fathers growing up were shown how to be raw and vulnerable in a healthy way.
We could however now start by asking.. what will feel nurturing to you?
How can I support you?
This is the human experience we all have agreed to experience in this lifetime. This concept inspired me to create the Soundfull Birth method. All the sounds that we express during birth from the ecstatic pleasurable, to the most wailing painful sounds, are the full expression of all that we can experience in life. It's the perfect metaphor for life, and it's all ALLOWED!
Picture
I wish you a safe container, a space to be vulnerable, raw, witnessed, and held. One of gentleness and kindness to yourself and others so that you can truly release the PAIN.

An unexpected Easter.

When plans doesn’t work out that one deems utterly essential for a huge transition, it can often result in ample anxiety.

Easter started this way for us. Due to passport and travel authorization delays we were not able to spend our holiday together as a family with Zea’s dad and brother.

We had to figure out allot of “firsts” like driving an 18ft center console single engine boat in 35km winds, docking when it seems impossible. Driving a “twizzy” a little electric I want to say device that keeps dying on us.
Picture

The unexpected pleasantries were that I got to experience my daughter in a whole new way. I was truly able to “see” more of her personality, maturity in how she encouraged and supported me as an 8 year old when I was freaking out about struggling to do things with ease.

A different side of her shined not having to “be” in the shadows of her brother with neuro-diverse needs that tends to demand all the attention.
Picture
We got to meet new “locals” and experience a traditional Bermudian Easter of kite flying, fish cake competition and hot cross buns and exploration with no expectation.

For this special mother & daughter time we had with a myriad of new experiences, I am forever grateful!

We can be so cruel sometimes....

This months' introspection and life lesson called for sitting with, how cruel we can be in our reactivity with what we don't understand.
I experienced this first hand whilst visiting my home country with my "neuro diverse" 5 year old son. whilst this was extremely hurtful being on the receiving end of judgement as a caretaker, it allowed me to view how I judge myself in these challenging situations as well as how I perceive others "judgement".
I also reflected on how we react to what we don't understand and how it may trigger past traumas within ourselves.
In order to SOAR in Motherhood or as the mother archetype / caretaker of another, especially those with special needs such as my son with PANDAS, it is all about the type of questions you are asking to attain perspective.

Questions I explored for a deeper perspective with regard to this experience with my son were:
  • What if the problem is with us/me not him?
  • What if our ways of being and seeing the world is not how he perceive it?
  • What if many unassuming situations can be extremely triggering and scary for him leading him to react in anger and aggression to protect himself?
  • What if the old ways of discipline, conformity and domination just fuels the situation?
How can it be different if we just observe, let go of what we need to see happen and of the expectation of traditional obedience?
What if we are fascinated and open to even learn and grow ourselves? View his reaction as a reflection as to how he perceives us and the situation.

I realized how I feel scared, judged and ridiculed, left out just like him sometimes. I can relate although I don’t have his neurological diverse and impulsive challenges. My experience is more as a depleted, sometimes defeated care giver, who feels judged.

Do I lose my « shit » sometimes?.. hell yes! I get pushed to the maxed daily. Especially with the sibling dynamic. I’ve exhausted ample resources, treatments and therapies. That is indeed my scope as a clinician to find a solution.

A mother and her child has a special connection, intuition always surpassed any methodology or criticism out there.

Something has shifted in him at age 5 whilst in South Africa. There are more marked differences. His frustrations and reactivity has reached a new level of consequences especially in what society expects.
Then on the flight back from South Africa, I watched Temple Grandin. It validated what I suspects is coming more into form within my son, similar challenges and processes and how challenging it can be on the loved ones that interacts with him on a daily basis.

I highly recommend watching this movie to allow a basic understanding for those individuals that perceives the world in a different way and hold more empathy for a caretaker.
Be inspired by Temple Grandin's Ted talk about how her mind works and others like her -- sharing her ability to "think in pictures," which helps her solve problems that neurotypical brains might miss. She makes the case that the world needs people on the autism spectrum: visual thinkers, pattern thinkers, verbal thinkers, and all kinds of smart geeky kids.

I am your innate healer

I AM YOUR INNATE HEALER

Following a challenging Fall, with a myriad of health issues I am ready to Soar into the new year with a renewed sense of self and hope. Like any illness, loss, big change...... there is medicine and teachings in the experience.
I've made it a lifelong passion to empower individuals with their health and emotional challenges and most of the time, like any nurturer, mother archetype what I am doing for others and how I am showing up for them, is what I need to do for myself, more of.
Symptoms are ques "words" to nudge us in the right direction of selfcare, nurturing and self kindness and your innate healer has a message for you if you will only listen.
"This I learned whilst being totally bedridden for 10 days with "C". Experiencing "it", as it is unlike any natural pathogen I've encountered as a form of initiation. The way we view initiation from a Shamanic death-rebirth experience.
The depths you travel to of utter surrender. A space where you are not even able to push yourself to function on a cognitive or physical level. A space where you can only be "in it". Just like sitting with medicine's such as Kambo or any other conscious altering plant allies "entheogens".
Even though an entheogenic affect only last 20 min to 12hrs, and the "C" felt sense of intensity like you want to die, lasted for a week in my case.

In this place of utter hopelessness I was yet again reminded of the powerful healing response that already resided within me. I connected more deeply with my Innate Healer and "her" message:

"I AM YOUR INNATE HEALER!
Through my first and second line of defense you will be brought
to the edge of reality. I will induce a much needed fever state essential for healing, one that can bring you to the other realms. A place where you feel that your soul can consciously chose to stay in this body right now, or transition.  You will feel tender and volatile, however this is also and invitation to deeply connect with your inner power.

My powerful defense mechanism is "inflammation". I know you always view this as negative and unwanted. I understand, as this reaction can lead to physical and emotional discomfort. It can accentuate underlying disease processes or past viral manifestations for you such as shingles, brain inflammation, kidney inflammation, even kidney stones like it did in your case. I invite you to sit with your "pain", "loss," "Grief," "anger" and self sabotage.
Whilst you are "in it" I will strip away, fiber by fiber, cell by cell  all that you no longer need. This is an opportunity for you to lean into the ability to be re-wired and re-programmed, with an alternate perception and new narrative in the way you relate to yourself. You are given a chance to create a deeper more profound sense of change. Allow the Illness and my response to be the medicine. Through this lens you can detach from our ego and perceived outcomes. No need for you to control it. I am Innate and I have a super, powerful and divine intelligence of my own and I am here to protect you!"

I invite you to journey in meditation to the healing lands and sacred sites that holds the frequencies of medicine. Sites such as the Sycamore tree (pictures below) in front of Sekhmet's Chapel at Karnak Temple in Khemet Egypt. Bearing the sap that may heal your post-viral rash, supported with the Fiery Warrior Fierce Mother Archetypal Medicine that Sekhmet provides. (see below blog for more details on this transformational  healing process)

All my life of studying Integrative, Complementary and Alternative Medicine and 17 years of practice, so much of our focus has been on supporting our innate immunity. Removing blockages that may slow it down or interfere with it's reactivity. Creating healthy immune response. This is why I rely on complex homeopathy so much, because it reminds our system what it is naturally designed to... "defend, detox and repair" oh and so much more! we are truly magical beings.

Some of my patients asked me what I did to speed up my healing process and prevent mysymptoms to get more health threatening.

  1. I used Guna homeopathic remedies, as it was actually challenging drinking water, eating or taking regular supplements and herbs.
  2. I took Guna Flam and Guna Dizzy, for the initial symptoms of inflammation, fever, chills, joint pain and severe dizziness and vertigo.
  3. Followed by phase 2 just as it started to feel like the cytokine storm is now inflaming my lungs with the support of Interleukin 2 and Gamma 12 to help with the cough.
  4. Phase 3 focused on boosting my immunity and started cleaning and shedding the virus through all my detoxification organs by using Guna GCSF and Deep cleanse.
  5. Throughout and after, to avoid any long-term immune compromise, I've been using Guna defense and Guna Virus tablets.
Below you can also find ongoing and preventative wholefood supplement support from Standard Process that I use in my practice.

This experience reminded me of the transformational healing journey I've had with Sekhmet. The way she burns away what you no longer need just like a fever. The opportunity for a reset she provides just like the medicine of an illness. I utilized these frequencies and teachings (in video below) to assist my energetic body so I can heal physically.Followed by a link to this healing program I offer that you can utilize for mind body and soul transformative healing.

Enjoy these Healing Energies. May you be well and merry.
