 News from our SOAR Scribe

Welcome to the Neteru Medicine Woman blog, where we explore the transformative power of ancient Egypt's wisdom and healing practices. Our blog is published monthly and covers various topics, including sound healing, Sekhmet healing, Egyptian mythology, shamanic initiation, and priestess lineage.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, Medical Herbalist, and Aromatherapist, Dr. Kathia Ph.D., our resident Neteru Medicine Woman, shares her psychoacoustics and sound healing expertise. Through her Sound Journey Through Ancient Egypt, Dr. Kathia invites you to experience the healing power of sacred sites built with specific healing frequencies in mind.
Our blog also delves into the transformative power of Dr. Kathia's mentoring, which includes shadow work, inner child work, and archetypal exploration. As a gatekeeper to mysteries and a conduit to ancient wisdom, Dr. Kathia helps individuals reclaim their power and freedom from limiting beliefs and energetic blocks.
We also cover topics related to Egypt's healing magic, including the Neteru, and how to deepen your connection with them. Whether you're interested in group travel to Egypt or enrolling in our mentorship program, our blog provides insights into the transformative power of the land of the Pharaohs.
Join us each month as we explore Egypt's ancient wisdom and healing practices, including Neteru Medicine, sound healing, Sekhmet healing, Egyptian mythology, shamanic initiation, priestess lineage, and more. Discover the healing magic of Egypt and tap into your full potential with our guidance and expertise.

AN EASE OF BEING

Can you adopt an ease of being this summer?
What are you doing to create an easeful rhythm, one that nourishes, invigorates and inspires you?

This past month has called for this intention for me whilst moving my family to inhabit a small solo island just off Bermuda’s main Island in the North Atlantic.

This transition has been a challenging 6 months process and even though we still consider New England our home base and will return several times a year we will be spending most of our time adjusting to an Island Lifestyle.

For me to adjust to ease I needed to let go off... and ….
  • The very high expectations I place on an outcome, especially during such an international transition
  • Stop trying to please everyone! Yes, I am one of those.. I am realizing more and more someone will be displeased with something I do or don’t do wether it is a family member, a Neighbour, a friend, a colleague or even myself.
  • Be patient, with myself, others and the process. Yes, having to do driving tests all over again is definitely pushing this one!
  • Be kind to yourself and others! A little forgiveness for not having it ALL figured out or getting it wrong goes along way.
  • Celebrate the small and big wins. I wasn’t bargaining on getting a work permit, and I did. One that allows me to do any kind of work, even practice here and lead retreats in Bermuda. When I moved to the States in 2004 I was not allowed to work for 4 years until we managed to get on to another visa. During that time I travelled often to South Africa, serving on their Allied Health Professions Council and Higher Educational Statutory boards. I also commenced my PhD in Integrative Medicine and Medical Education whilst lecturing and developing the graduate curriculum for Natural Medicine at the University of Western Cape.

It took years to receive my accreditation and professional recognition in the States and I am now so pleased that I kept up my licenses and registration in the UK and South Africa also for all these years as it will come into play now.

  • Be open and in a state of flow and possibility to allow for miracles to manifest. Allow the “honeymoon” eye of a new place to keep you in a state of awe. For example last night I witnessed the most epic shooting star I’ve ever seen in my whole life as we’ve just been watching the Milky Way every night instead of TV for the past 5 weeks of being on a private Island.
  • Last but not least.. have fun, no matter what you do or try and keep chasing rainbows!  ;)
